دکتر ابراهیم سوزنچی کاشانی
دکتر ابراهیم سوزنچی‌کاشانی، زاده سال ۱۳۵۹ در شهر مشهد است. وی از سال ۱۳۷۷ که دانشگاه شریف، رشته مهندسی برق قبول شد، تقریبا پیوندی ناگسستنی با این دانشگاه داشت. پس از پایان کارشناسی در رشته مهندسی الکترونیک، وی به دانشکده مدیریت و اقتصاد رفت تا دوره کارشناسی ارشد MBA را به منظور نقش آفرینی بیشتر در کشور بگذراند. شوق ایفای نقش‌های جدی‌تر در جامعه، باعث شد تا دکترای خود را در سال ۱۳۸۴ در همین دانشکده در رشته سیاستگذاری علم و فناوری که به صورت مشترک با دانشگاه Sussex انگلستان، مرکز تحقیقات سیاست علمی (SPRU) برگزار می‌شد ادامه دهد.
مشکلات پیش‌روی ادامه همکاری میان دو دانشگاه باعث شد که وی در سال ۱۳۸۷، مستقلا از SPRU پذیرش گرفته و با وجود مشکلات فراوان مالی، تحصیل خود را در آنجا شروع کند (مصادف با اکتبر ۲۰۰۸). تز دکترای وی در حوزه سیاستگذاری بیوتکنولوژی و به صورت خاص مسأله ریسک محصولات تراریخته بود که ظرف ۲۶ ماه نهایی و تمام شد. جلسه دفاع به صورت موفقیت‌آمیز در سال ۲۰۱۱ برگزار شد و وی مجدداً به ایران بازگشت و از تیرماه سال ۱۳۹۲ بعنوان عضو هیأت‌علمی دانشکده مدیریت و اقتصاد، فعالیت می‌کند.
وی از سال ۱۳۹۸ به عنوان معاون خط مشی گذاری ستاد علم و فناوری دبیرخانه شورای عالی انقلاب فرهنگی فعالیت می‌نمود و از آذرماه سال ۱۴۰۰ با حکم رهبر انقلاب به عضویت حقیقی شورای عالی انقلاب فرهنگی درآمد.
